  • Keel hidden between wings
  • Stamens and style hidden inside keel
  • Stamens 10 , 9 often fused
  • Fruit a bean (legume), a dry capsule without inner dividing walls, and with seeds attached to one side
  • Seeds splits in 2, nutrients stored in dicotyledons inside seed
